Which AI is your team using right now and who is accountable for it?

Supervision is in place. Do you know what is running in your company? In most companies AI is already at work, it is just not governed. I change that: understandable, verifiable, without drama.

For the management of mid-sized companies in Saxony.

AI is already here, often without any rules

Many employees already use AI tools in their daily work: ChatGPT, Copilot, voice assistants. Often without management knowing which data is being shared, who is accountable or whether it is legally covered.

The EU AI Act has applied since February 2025. Anyone deploying AI carries responsibility depending on the use case, as a rule also at management level.

That is no reason to panic. But it is a reason to act.

The regulator is watching.

Since 2 August 2026 the Federal Network Agency supervises the implementation of the EU AI Act. Companies must now be able to show which AI they use, who is responsible and that employees are trained. New on top: anyone running chatbots or publishing AI generated content has additional transparency and labelling duties (Art. 50 EU AI Act).

Whoever creates order now is in a far better position if an audit comes.

About me

I am Claudia Mende. More than 20 years of professional experience in project and general management, most recently as an authorised officer. Today I specialise in AI governance in mid-sized companies.

I have seen what happens when organisations approach digital change without structure. And I know how to do it better.

What I bring: operational grounding, a strategic view and the ability to make complex things understandable. For management teams just as much as for their teams.
