Since 2 August 2026 Germany's Federal Network Agency supervises the implementation of the EU AI Act. What is required is not paperwork but traceability:
Which AI systems does the company use, in which processes and with which data?
Who is responsible internally and who decides on new tools?
Are employees sufficiently trained in using AI (AI literacy under Art. 4)?
Are chatbots and AI-generated content labelled (transparency duties under Art. 50)?

Risk traffic light: Classification of the use cases by risk and urgency, in plain language instead of legal clauses.
Responsibilities: A proposal for who owns AI topics in future and how decisions are documented.

I am based in Dresden. Appointments across Saxony, for example in Leipzig, Chemnitz, Görlitz or Bautzen, come at no extra charge. Across Germany I work remotely, half a day by video call is enough for the AI check.

What does the AI check cost? 890 € net as a fixed price for half a day, including the result document. Further building blocks such as training, a policy or ongoing support as your AI pilot are available on request.
How long does the AI check take? Half a day. Preparation and the result document are included, internally you only need the people who know your main processes.
Do we need AI governance if we only use ChatGPT? Using general purpose AI tools also creates obligations, for example on AI literacy and on handling personal and confidential data. The AI check shows what is really necessary in your case and what is not.
Do we have to appoint an AI officer? The EU AI Act does not require a named AI officer, but it does require clear responsibilities. Many companies combine an internal owner with external support.
What happens after the AI check? You decide. Some companies implement the steps themselves, others add training and a policy or ongoing support as an external AI pilot.
